Original recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1½ tablespoons Minnezona Jalapeño Garlic Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lime, divided
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro

Directions

  1. Pat chicken dry and toss with olive oil, Jalapeño Garlic Seasoning and juice from half the lime.
  2. Heat grill to medium-high and clean and oil the grates.
  3. Grill chicken 5–7 minutes per side until well browned and at least 165°F internally.
  4. Rest 5 minutes. Squeeze remaining lime over the chicken and garnish with cilantro.

Recipe Notes

  • Chicken is safe at 165°F; thighs remain juicy a little beyond that temperature.
  • Let chicken rest before slicing.
  • For meal prep, cool promptly and refrigerate in a covered container.
On the side

Suggested Sides

  • Roasted vegetables
Caramelized vegetables add color and texture while their savory edges fit naturally beside seasoned chicken or pasta.
  • Crisp green salad
A bright vinaigrette supplies acidity and freshness to balance creamy sauces, cheese or browned chicken.
Wine pairing

Pour a Glass

Chardonnay or Pinot Gris
Both have enough body for chicken and creamy pasta, with acidity that keeps richer sauces from becoming too heavy.

Beer pairing

Crack One Open

Blonde ale
Soft malt and restrained hops complement chicken, garlic and cream without taking attention away from the dish.
