Original recipe

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb fully cooked smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 teaspoons Minnezona House Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Directions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high. Add sausage and brown 4–5 minutes. Transfer to a plate.
  2. Add olive oil, peppers and onion. Cook 6–8 minutes until browned but still slightly crisp.
  3. Add House Seasoning and Worcestershire and stir well.
  4. Return sausage to the skillet and cook 3–4 minutes until hot throughout.
  5. Finish with parsley and serve over rice, potatoes or on toasted rolls.

Recipe Notes

  • Use fully cooked sausage and heat thoroughly before serving.
  • Keep the skillet hot so peppers brown instead of steaming.
  • Add Jalapeño Garlic for extra heat if desired.
