Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 teaspoons Minnezona House Seasoning
  • 12 oz sturdy tortilla chips
  • 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack or Mexican-blend cheese
  • 1 cup black beans, rinsed and drained
  • ½ cup corn kernels
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon Minnezona Jalapeño Garlic Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 Roma tomato, diced
  • ¼ cup sliced green onions
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 avocado, diced

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400°F. Brown ground beef in a skillet with House Seasoning and drain excess fat.
  2. Arrange half the chips on a large sheet pan. Top with half the beef, cheese, beans and corn. Repeat the layers.
  3. Bake 8–10 minutes until cheese is fully melted and chips at the edges are lightly toasted.
  4. Mix sour cream, Jalapeño Garlic Seasoning and lime juice. Thin with 1–2 teaspoons water if needed for drizzling.
  5. Top hot nachos with tomato, green onions, cilantro and avocado. Drizzle with Jalapeño Garlic sour cream and serve immediately.

Recipe Notes

  • Use sturdy restaurant-style tortilla chips.
  • Layer twice so toppings reach more chips.
  • Add avocado only after baking.
  • Serve immediately for the crispest chips.
