Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1½ teaspoons Minnezona House Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds, toasted

Directions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and green beans.
  2. Cook 4–5 minutes, tossing occasionally, until beans develop blistered spots.
  3. Add House Seasoning and water. Cover and steam 3 minutes.
  4. Uncover and cook 2–3 minutes more until water evaporates and beans are crisp-tender.
  5. Remove from heat and toss with butter, lemon juice and toasted almonds.

Recipe Notes

  • Choose firm, bright green beans for the best texture.
  • Toast almonds in a dry skillet until fragrant.
  • Do not over-steam; the beans should retain some bite.
